Detroit Rock City

2 more days til the concert. 4 more days til the big game. Holy shit the city is on bump! For real, there is no place to drive, all the streets are blocked off for the game. Every cool club in the city is rented out for a private party by a celebrity. There is only a hand full of places that we can drink after the concert (downtown anyway). Detroit and the surrounding areas have put some serious money in to this event. It's a shame that this had to happen for us to get our streets paved and street lights fixed. WTF? The lights in the tunnel under the overpass on 696 West are so bright they are blinding.

Parking and security are so bad that I figured we should drive half way and take a cab the rest. Or even get dropped off, walk to the bar and to the show and just catch the cab for the ride back. My house is only 20 min. from ford field, so the drive is not that bad. It's the driving around looking for a spot that will kill us. The whole weekend is outa control. I love this. I love the busy, hustle-bustle crazyness of it. I am gonna plant myself in the center of it the entire weekend. I wish I had some money to enjoy some of the party's being hosted. The media is crazy with telling everyone to snap pictures of the celeb's and sending it to them. I guess you get a chance to win 2 tickets to the game on sunday if you have so many pictures. Well, the activities have already started and I am hyper as hell. I know I better pace myself on friday cause I am gonna go crazy.
